2016 Georgia International Conference on Information Literacy

The Department of Writing and Linguistics, along with the Zach S. Henderson Library, the Allen E. Paulson College of Engineering and Information Technology, the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the Division of Continuing Education, and Georgia Southern University, will host the Georgia International Conference on Information Literacy September 30-Ocotber 1, 2016, at the Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah.

The mission of the Georgia Conference on Information Literacy is to provide the opportunity to share research and best methods related to teaching, learning, and assessing essential lifelong learning skills. Attendees can obtain best-practices for developing information literacy skills in K-12 students, postsecondary students, and lifelong learners of any age; meet others who share an interest and expertise in information literacy; learn practical ideas; and share reports of research related to information literacy.
