‘Oh, The Abstracted Spaces’ on Display at The Center for Teaching and Technology

The Center for Teaching and Technology (CT2) is proud to host the exhibition Oh, The Abstracted Spaces. The exhibition includes an artist reception to be held on October 23rd from 3-5pm in Suite 1303 of the Henderson Library. The event is free, and all are invited to attend.

Created and curated by students from the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art, the exhibition features recent artworks exploring abstraction as a way to investigate space over time. The exhibition features new and recent paintings and drawings by Emmitt Smith, D’Antre Harris, Courtney England and Kenny Olowoyo. The exhibition is a collaboration between the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art and CT2. “We are so happy to work with CT2 by sharing our BFA student’s artwork through a themed exhibition,” said Gallery Director Anthony Faris, “The addition of the exhibit activates the space in a way that makes viewers stop and reflect on the work. The student curators did a wonderful job.”

The exhibition will be on view at CT2 until December 11th the reception on October 23rd, 2014. The artists will be in attendance at to answer questions and speak about their recent works.
