The Bachelor of Fine Arts program at the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art is comprised of a dynamic and multi-faceted curriculum that is led by exceptional faculty. Every year, The Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art graduates many gifted and diverse undergraduate students that go on to successful careers in a variety of professions. This exhibition is a cohesive record of the ideas and images that each student has investigated throughout the last semester of their academic pursuits.

“The BFA exhibit is, in a sense, a celebration of four years spent making, refining and producing art. Some students arrive at GSU with a passion for a particular type of art, while others discover a medium through courses at BFSDoArt” said Hans Mortensen, Interim Chair of the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art, “Come and celebrate the outstanding artwork produced by our graduating BFA students, as the artwork demonstrates the dedication and expression of our students.”

The Spring 2013 BFA Senior Exhibition features the work of the following students: Sara Adams, Alexandra Arnold, Jennifer Burnett, Sarah Caitlin Coonce, Courtney R. England, CW Langub, Nathan Miner, Kenneth Olowoyo, Whitney Reddish, Sean Teeling, Toni D. Todd, and Rolston M. Wilder III.

2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional Studio Art professors include Patricia Carter, Elsie Taliaferro Hill, Jessica Burke, Marc Mitchell, Marc Moulton, Christina Lemon, Jeff Schmuki and Patricia Walker.
