November elevator pitch workshop for W&L majors

The Department of Writing and Linguistics at Georgia Southern University invites W&L majors and minors to a series of career workshops held during fall 2016. Dr. Melissa Carrion, Dr. Joanna Schreiber, and Professor Christina Olson will host the last of four career workshops in November:

  • “Creating Your Elevator Pitch” on Wednesday, November 16

Students are encouraged to bring any drafts of existing résumés and cover letters, as well as a job posting. The workshop will be held in Newton 1114 from 5:30-7 pm. For more information, contact Dr. Schreiber.

The Department of Writing and Linguistics is housed in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Georgia Southern’s College of the Creative Mind.
