Online Writing Center

The University Writing Center has its own computer lab, open to all GSU students who are working on course projects, doing research, or checking email between classes.  This lab contains 15 networked Gateway 1.4GHz computers with 250 Meg Zip Drives, CD-RW and DVD drives, and full MS Office 2000 and Word Perfect Office 2000 suites.  Two laser printers are also available for students who need hard copies of their drafts or research materials.  Students can create web pages, view course materials with WebCT, word process documents, and burn CDs at each of these stations, and writing center consultants can assist with Web searches, document formatting, and online research as well as other aspects of the writing process in the lab.
