Revising Paragraphs With Excessive Coordination Key

Cisco’s

Cisco’s café is a Mexican restaurant, but it is not located in Mexico.  It can be found here in town on Abercorn Street.  Americans run the restaurant, which serves Mexican food and has a bar.  From the outside, Cisco’s looks like a surreal cactus, since it is painted in many different colors, like orange, purple, and brown.  The cactus theme does not continue inside the café.  There are potted plants, pottery, rugs, and pictures that give the restaurant a Mexican flavor.  Most of the workers at Cisco’s are college students.  They may not be too experienced, but they make up for it in friendliness.  As far as the food goes, Cisco’s offers a variety of Mexican foods as well as non-Mexican fare, like quiche or pizza.  The atmosphere of the restaurant is conducive to any outing, from a family dinner to having a good time with your friends.  I recommend Cisco’s for its high quality, low prices, and friendly atmosphere.

 Buy Buy

No matter where we go or what time it is, we are constantly exposed to some form of advertising.  Advertising assaults us even while it influences us both consciously and subconsciously.  For example, when we drive down the street, dozens of billboards are present, advertising anything from soft drinks to cigarettes to Community Fund drives.  Inside our cars, the radio gives us commercials for more products, just as television does when we get home. Although we may claim advertising has no sway over us and that we pay no attention to it, it still influences us even if we are not consciously paying attention.  Commercials tell us of the dangers of foot and underarm odor, so we rush out and buy the products meant to remedy these problems.  Or we see a sexy ad for designer jeans and we decide to mortgage the house to buy a pair.  We buy lots of things; mostly things we do not need.  We buy them anyway.  Advertising convinces us that we need these items to be healthy, sexy, popular, or happy.
