Program Requirements

  • Must meet all requirements for retention in the Teacher Education Program
  • Must earn a "C" or better on all courses in the teaching field and professional education, a total institution GPA of 2.75 or better  in this course work, and maintenance of overall cumulative GPA of 2.50 or better.
  • Must successfully complete all field experiences.
  • Must take courses in proper sequence.
  • Must meet requirements for admission to Student Teaching including taking the Georgia teacher certification test, Praxis II.
