Plans are being made for three (3) trips. The first will be after Christmas holiday between Thursday, December 29th, 2005 and Saturday, January 7th. 2006. The second work trip will be during Spring Break from Saturday, March 11th, 2006 through Saturday, March 18th, 2006. The third work trip will be from Saturday, May 6th, 2006 through Friday, May 19th, 2006. The third trip will be a little longer because more houses will be under construction. We will try to work in visits to other areas to learn more about Panamanian Culture and opportunities for the future.

Lodging will be in the Sol Naciente Community Center / Methodist Church Building adjacent to the construction site. The two story, cement block building has rooms upstairs for women to sleep in and downstairs rooms for the men. There are restrooms and a kitchen in the facility with potable water. This eliminates a lot of driving time to and from Panama City. Costs for lodging will only consist of money to pay a janitor for cleaning and a cook to purchase and prepare meals. The round-trip airfare from Savannah, Georgia to Panama City, Panama is now about $750. A valid United States Passport is needed and a Tourist's VISA which may be purchased during the flight for $5.00. A yellow Health Department Immunization Record is also required showing MMR vacinizations. As dates draw near and are confirmed the costs for side trips and shopping will also be estimated.
