Teaching and Research Interests

Teaching areas: sociological theory, social psychology, self and society, and culture.
Current research interests: the transformation of non-traditional lifestyle activities into legitimate occupations, the development, transformation and incorporation of "non-traditional" sports into the sporting world, and the theoretical examination of tension management between conflicting ethos and tasks.

Personal Interests
Travel, Cooking, Snowboarding, Reading and most importantly being with family.
