Submissions Information The Popular Culture Association in the
South And The American Culture Association in the
South Queries for Studies in American Culture are encouraged. Enclose two double-spaced copies of essay and a SASE. Black and white illustrations may accompany the text. We prefer essays that total, with notes and Works Cited, less than twenty pages in double-spaced typescript, 12 pt. type. Essays must be documented according to MLA parenthetical documentation guidelines. Where notes are required, we prefer that they take the form of endnotes. For electronic sources, The Columbia Guide to Online Style provides a useful model. Authors should secure all necessary copyright permissions before submitting materials. Texts must be available on computer disk, preferably in MS Word 96 or Word Perfect 96 and up, labeled with the author’s name, phone number, and email address. If neither word processing program is available, please save the documents as Rich Text Format (*.rtf). The Editors reserve the right to make stylistic changes on accepted manuscripts.
