Rural Health Research Institute
The Rural Health Research Institute (RHRI) at Georgia Southern University, is an interdisciplinary hub of research focusing on rural health issues spanning the health spectrum (physical health, mental health, and prevention). The Rural Health Research Institute connects faculty from diverse backgrounds, representing dozens of fields and research areas. The RHRI’s federal grant portfolio has included numerous projects funded by NIH, HRSA, and CNCS that focus on diverse aspects of health promotion and disparities elimination in rural areas.
