We publish articles in a broad range of subfields because our readers teach about a wide variety of political science topics.
We insist that our authors write lucidly for a generalist--albeit a highly educated--audience. Excessive and obscure jargon is not tolerated.
Involvement with the journal is inclusive of faculty from all types of colleges and universities who serve as authors, manuscript reviewers, book reviewers, and editorial board members.
We publish selective special issues on contemporary political issues, peer- reviewed collections that make timely and affordable readers for college classes.
We offer our readers and institutions three formats: deluxe paper copy; online, full-article access; and compact disk. Electronic subscribers get their copies first and have access to special features. Paper subscribers receive their attractive hard-copy issues as printing and shipping schedules permit.
We published as the Southeastern Political Review for 28 years. We have published 4 years under our current title.
In January 2005, Politics & Policy became a publication of the Policy Studies Organization. In 2006 it will be published by Blackwell Publishing, Inc.
