GSU Wind Ensemble/Wind Symphony Audition Music and Schedule Membership and seating auditions for Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony for spring 2013 will be held on Saturday, January 12, and Sunday, January 13, during the times listed below. Auditions will be held in the Foy building or the Foy Building Annex. Please look for signs telling you where auditions will be held. ***IMPORTANT*** EVERYONE wishing to participate in either the Symphonic Wind Ensemble or the Wind Symphony MUST audition to be seated in one of the bands - if you do not audition or contact Dr. Dunham about auditions, you will not be seated in either ensemble. Saturday, January 12, 2013: 08:30 am – 10:30 am – Trombones 02:00 pm – 04:00 pm – Trumpets 07:00 pm – 09:00 pm - Saxophones Sunday, August 13, 2012: 09:00 am – 12:00 pm – Percussion 02:00 pm – 04:00 pm – Flutes Auditions will consist of: - Prepared Concert Etude (linked below) *** If for some reason you cannot attend the audition time for your instrument, please contact Dr. Dunham (rdunham@georgiasouthern.edu) BEFORE January 12.
