The Georgia Southern Opera is a training ground for singers to learn to integrate the fundamental skills of singing, acting, stage movement, as well as various protocols for performance and audition. The semester culminates in fully staged and costumed performances.

The mission of Georgia Southern Opera is to train professional operatic artists and enrich the culture of southern Georgia by producing quality opera.
