About Sarah:

Mezzo-soprano, Sarah Hancock, made her operatic debut in the role of 'Page Boy" in Offenbach 's Bluebeard with the Bronx Opera. Since then she has gone on to sing with the Toledo Opera, the Lansing Lyric Opera and The Ohio Light Opera. Ms. Hancock made her Augusta Symphony Chamber Series debut singing Respighi's Il Tramonto with the Magellan String Quartet. She returned to Augusta for a symphony performance of love songs and duets. The mezzo-soprano appeared as oratorio soloist with the Southern Georgia Symphony, the Savannah Symphony, the Augusta Choral Society, the University of Florida Symphony , and the Mercer University Symphony. Upcoming performances include the Messiah with the Savannah Sinfonietta. No stranger to the recital stage, Ms. Hancock sang on the Columbia Artist Community Concert Series in a duet recital in Kearney , Nebraska . Currently, Ms. Hancock is on the music faculty of Georgia Southern University; she is the founder of the Statesboro Academy of Singing a private voice studio, and Ms. Hancock is the Associate Director of the Statesboro Youth Chorale which recently performed at the 10 th Annual Children's Choir Festival in Canterbury and London.
