Majorette Audition Information

Audition Date:
Saturday, April 12, 2008

Schedule:

9:00AM

9:30AM

Registration -

Auditions and Workshop begins

Recreation Activities Center (RAC)
GSU Campus

Auditions will conclude prior to lunch (early afternoon).

Procedure:

Judging will be in three categories:

1) Each participant will perform a solo routine at least two minutes long and will perform to a pre-recorded cassette tape of your choice.

2) Participants will be taught a routine to be performed in small groups.

3) Participants will demonstrate fundamental marching techniques. (This requires no advance experience).

What to Bring:

Each participant is to supply their own equipment and solo routine tape.

A cassette player will be provided for the auditions.

Solo routines are to be performed in uniform.
Dressing rooms will be provided.
