All Students wishing to be considered as potential music majors must complete an entrance audition in addition to the standard application process. Entrance Auditions also serve as the student's Scholarship Audition. Entrance Auditions also serve as the student's Scholarship Audition AND FIRST ROUND CHORAL AUDITION.

Also, students are required to take a Theory and Aural Skills Diagnostic Exam on the day of their audition. The exam is for diagnostic purposes only and is not used by the faculty to determine acceptance in the music program.
