1. The BM in Music Education only requires 8 hrs of MUSA. However, given that students must exit Level 2000 of MUSA and present a graduation recital in order to graduate, standard practice is to register for 2 hrs credit each term (total 14 instead of 8). The four-year plan reflects this.

2. Students should take HIST 1112 prior to Semester 5 as HIST 1112 is a prerequisite to Music History.

3. Two credits of Marching Band are required in the instrumental music ed degree and must be taken in the first two fall semesters on-campus. These credits are in addition to the six credits of a concert large ensemble.
