1. Students are encouraged to register for 16-17 hrs per semester
2. All BA students must complete through FORL 2002 or equivalent. Depending on background, students may need to take anywhere from 0-4 GSU FORL courses. Students should consult the catalogue of classes and Foreign Language Dept. to determine their individual FORL requirement.
3. The BA in Music only requires 8 hrs of MUSA. However, given that students must exit Level 2000 of MUSA in order to graduate, standard practice is to register for 2 hrs credit each term (total 16 instead of 8). The four year plan reflects this.
4. Students should take HIST 1112 prior to Semester 5 as HIST 1112 is a prerequisite to Music History.
5. MUSC 4331 (Analytical Techniques) is listed in semester 5. However, since this course is only offered in fall semesters of odd numbered years, students wishing to graduate in eight semesters may need to take this course in semester seven.
