JOURNAL OF COMMONWEALTH
AND POSTCOLONIAL STUDIES

The Journal of Commonwealth and Postcolonial Studies is devoted to the promotion and/or study of the literature, performing arts, history, and politics of nations which were historically part of the British Commonwealth, and of countries colonized by other European powers in Africa, the Americas, Asia, and the Caribbean.

Special Issues:

Fall 2004: Postcolonial Gay and Lesbian Literature, guest edited by John Hawley.

Fall 2005: The Life and Legacy of Edward Said, guest edited by Patrick Hogan.


The journal is published bi-annually in fall and late spring. Subscription rates are as follows:

Institutions--$40.00 US
Individuals--$20.00 US
Students--$10.00 US
