Justice Studies Program

The Justice Studies Program is an interdisciplinary program that
provides a comprehensive examination of justice, crime, and the law by offering a broad foundation of courses that prepare students for professions within the criminal justice system and for further study in graduate or law school. Among the hallmarks of the Justices Studies Program are the diverse backgrounds of its faculty, the requirement that students take courses in other social science disciplines, as well as at least one course in which students study the justice systems of countries other than the United States, and an emphasis on a social science approach to the institutions of the criminal justice system.
