Service: In order to help homebound elderly and handicapped to remain in their homes as long as possible, Homebound Services offers three main services. Homemaker services are provided to assist with routine house hold tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the kitchen and bath, and helping with laundry, if needed. Clients have a Homemaker for 2 hours a week.

Home Instead Senior Care provides 3 services which are Personal Care (Bathing, Dressing, Eating, Grooming, Incontinence Care, and Alzheimer’s Care); Home Helper Services (Prepare Meals, Medication Reminders, Laundry, Dusting, grocery shopping, and taking client to appointments); and Companionship Services (Companionship and Conversation, Respite Care, Assist with morning wake-up, Assist with evening tuck-in, and assist with walking. We offer care not only to just seniors but to 18 years and older.

Service: The Silver Lining Club is a socialization opportunity for persons suffering from early stage Alzheimer’s disease or dementia related illnesses. Participation in the Silver Lining Club provides much needed respite care for caregivers. The club meets on Saturday morning at the First Presbyterian Church (1215 Fair Road) and provides stimulating activities, crafts and a light lunch. A CAN is available to assist the participants. Coastal Regional Coaches of Georgia

Service: Coastal Regional Coaches is part of the regional rural public transit program that provides general public transit service in the Georgia counties of Bryan, Bulloch, Camden, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long, McIntosh, and Screven. This service is available to anyone, for any purpose, and to any destination in the coastal region. Fares are very affordable and vary with different itineraries.
Coastal Regional Coaches is a demand-response, advance reservation service that operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.
