German Grammar * Review & Exercises

TO THE INSTRUCTOR

For general information, read Introduction and Help.
See also To the User/Student.

Feel free to make use of these pages for your German courses. You can assign this material for review only (without asking students to complete the exercises), thus using it as a reference grammar. You can use it to produce worksheets (adding appropriate copyright info would be appreciated). Or you can have your students work on their own with the material, including the online exercises. This could be within the context of a class or in a tutorial situation (or anything else you see it fit for).

If you assign the exercises, you need to furnish your students with your email address so that the form input will be submitted to you (unless you ask your students to submit print-outs of the screen that is presented after they have "submitted" the online form). Do not have them sent to me; I will ignore them.

The online forms are not self-correcting and do not present answers. This will be your task. Because the exercises are under development and change occasionally, there are no answers keys (yet...). This means that you will have to come up with them yourself. Contact me if you have pertinent questions (or comments etc.). I may contextualize the exercises when I have more time.

The exercises are set up with mail-in forms. Answers which should be reviewed by someone who will be able to give professional feedback as appropriate (rather than simply corrections). In an instructional setting, this ensures that an instructor can see where students may have difficulties.
