Foreign Languages: German Section

COURSE ROTATION SCHEDULE

Every semester, we offer the full Elementary German as well as the full Intermediate German sequence (= at least one GRMN 1001, GRMN 1002, GRMN 2001, and GRMN 2002, respectively).

For upper-level courses, we normally offer one 3000-level and one 4000-level course every semester. These will rotate according to the following pattern. However, circumstances may cause changes (such as substitutions). Obviously, when you enter this rotation depends on when you begin your studies.

Listening Skills in German (GRMN 3231)
German Culture & Civilzation (GRMN 4330)
ACADEMIC YEAR 2 [starts in even numbered academic years]
Fall Semester Spring Semester
German Language & Society (GRMN 3330)
Readings in German Literature (GRMN 4230)
Conversation & Phonetics (GRMN 3130)
German Culture & Civilization (GRMN 4330)

All other upper-level courses listed in the curriculum will be scheduled as necessary and possible.

Please note: There are no German courses offered during summer term(s).
