Teaching Certificate (for German)

Students of German can achieve a non-degree "Teaching Certificate" (initial T-4 teacher certification) by completing the M.A.T. program through "Step 3" (because German does not include a graduate program component there is no "M.A.T./Master of Arts in Teaching in German Education", but conceivably the full program--"Step 4"--could be completed later at another institution). For further details consult the appropriate information at the College of Education's Department of Teaching and Learning website. (As a model you may want to use study concentration Track 4 "Spanish Education", towards the bottom of that page). Note that certain education courses can be taken as electives while still enrolled in the B.A. program.
