The Coastal Review is a scholarly, peer-reviewed, online journal that is published annually and it seeks to serve as a leader in promoting scholarship among academics from the region and beyond. The Coastal Review includes original works in the field of Classics, French, German, East Asian, Spanish, and Special Topics in language, literature, culture, pedagogy and film. This journal accepts submissions for publication of papers that are presented at the annual Southeast Coastal Conference on Languages and Literatures (SECCLL).
