The Coastal Review is a scholarly, peer-reviewed, online journal that is published annually and it seeks to serve as a leader in promoting scholarship among academics from the region and beyond. The Coastal Review includes original works in the field of Classics, French, German, East Asian, Spanish, and Special Topics in language, literature, culture, pedagogy and film.
Any person that presents a paper at the annual Southeast Coastal Conference on Languages and Literatures (SECCLL) may submit a revised version of it for possible inclusion in this journal. However, in addition, The Coastal Review may include special sections in any of its forthcoming issues or publish special issues from time to time.
