Segovia,
Spain

The Foreign Language
Department encourages all students studying a language
to study abroad and currently sponsors a program to
Segovia,
Spain.
For the Segovia, Spain
Study Abroad program, students should plan to finish
SPAN 2002 prior to going abroad (or the equivalent thereof).
The courses that are offered are at the 3000 level and
above and serve to help Spanish majors and minors become
more fluent by submersing them directly into the language.
Madrid,
Spain

of Georgia)
For
the last decade, the European Council (EC) of the University
System of Georgia has been offering study abroad programs
in Europe that are organized and led by faculty members
from Georgia colleges and universities and open to students
enrolled in any accredited college or university. Many
GSU students study abroad in Madrid, Spain through the
University
System of Georgia Study Abroad Program
where sstudents are able to enroll in CORE courses such
as Art, World Literature, Anthropology, and Geography
including lower-level Spanish courses. Deadline:
March 7, 2008.
