STUDY
ABROAD IN
COSTA RICA!

CLASSES / CREDIT HOURS
Classes
are taught through the Costa Rica Language Academy located in
the capital, San José. Students will attend twenty hours
of language instruction per week by native Costa Rican teachers.
Supplemental instruction including educational field trips and
weekend excursions will be provided by Dr. Dolores E. Rangel of
Georgia Southern University.
Students will take 6
credit hours, one three-hour language course and one three-hour
culture course. Students will be placed in one of two different
levels based upon prior experience with the language.
For students with less
experience:
- SPAN 3195 - Language
(3 credits)
- SPAN 3395 - Culture
(3 credits)
For students with more
experience (or graduate students):
- SPAN 4195/SPAN 7195
- Advanced Language (3 credits)
- SPAN 4395/SPAN 7395
- Advanced Culture (3 credits)
