I am currently an Instructor of Spanish at Georgia Southern University. I received my B.S. in Psychology, a B.A.. in Spanish, and a Masters of Art in Teaching Spanish, all from Georgia Southern University. During my undergraduate career, I studied abroad in Spain and visited Costa Rica. I have also served as a translator in Statesboro for a local employment agency, and for the local domestic violence shelter. I also have experience teaching high school Spanish. |

I studied abroad in Costa Rica in the summer of 2006 and in Segovia, Spain in the summer of 2008. |

I am a Spanish major with a French minor. I studied abroad in Quebec for 6 weeks in the summer of 2008! I loved Quebec! I miss it so much. It's such a beautiful place, and while it seems big it still has a small town vibe to it. |

I was a minor in Spanish and major in Psychology. Just graduated May 10, 2008 so the world is still open to me. I had planned on going to CA with a program that helped to develop the reading skills of the underprivileged there. From what I was told, I would get a lot of use out of my minor. Things changed though and now I'm going to Colorado. So who knows ;) |

I went to Honduras for Spring Break 2008. I got to use Spanish everyday; I volunteered at an orphange (Copprome) in El Progreso, Honduras. It was the best experience ever; trust me, immersion in a language really teaches you the ins and outs, much more than any textbook ever can. In only 1 week, I learned so much. |
| Janelle Wiley |
I was a Spanish major with an International Studies minor. I used Spanish in my job at Wal-Mart and I am currently teaching Spanish at a metro Atlanta high school. Studying abroad taught me SO much that you just cannot learn at an American university. And it made me a different, and what I think to be a better, person.
And I miss being a GSU student. Even though now I get to give the homework and not actually do it. Hehehe... :) |
