The German Club offers opportunities to practice speaking German outside the classroom. Members participate in a wide range of events such as Stammtisch (see below), playing German games, German Karaoke, kegeln (bowling), learning to write Sütterlin (German script), poetry readings, watching German movies and/or TV shows, or enjoying a German dinner. A current schedule of events will be posted early in the respective term. Here is a list of past presidents. Dr. Cathie Johnson is the German Club advisor.

Anyone who would like to practice their German is invited to come
to Stammtisch. During the semester, it is usually held
bi-weekly at about 5:30pm at a location close to campus.
