Coming from Savannah (I-16)
-
Georgia Southern
University Campus is approximately 1 hour from downtown
Savannah.
-
From I-16,
take the first exit to Statesboro (Hwy 67 North)
and go on to Statesboro (about 12 miles).
-
Cross Hwy
301 Bypass (= Veterans Memorial Parkway), and continue
straight on Hwy 67 (= Fair Road from here on).
-
After about
one mile, you will see the campus on your left.
At the third light (after crossing the Bypass),
take a left (onto Chandler Ave).
-
Continue on
to the next light; take a right (into Georgia Ave).
-
Follow Georgia
Ave to a 90-degree left curve; here, Georgia Ave
becomes Forest Drive. Keep going.

Soon, you
will pass by a field. After the field, there is
a double one-story brick building on your right,
followed by a one story modular building in grey-white
with a black roof (across from the parking lot).

Coming from Macon/Atlanta
(I-16)
-
Georgia Southern
University Campus is approximately 4 hours from
downtown Atlanta (if you know your way and/or do
not get lost).

Take the first
exit to Statesboro (Hwy 301 South) and go on to
Statesboro (about 13 miles).
-
Cross Hwy
301 Bypass (= Veterans Memorial Parkway), and keep
going straight ahead.
-
After about
one mile, you will see the campus on your right.
You will pass by a bowling alley and some other
buildings and businesses.

On your left,
you will see a BP gas station right at an intersection.
Here, take the road to your right (more or less
directly across from the gas station).

This short
road will lead you straight to another--take a right,
go on for several hundred feet, turn left into Forest
Drive.

Follow this
winding road until you come out of the woods, and
keep going straight (there will be one stop sign).

On your left,
there is a large brick brick building. Forest Drive
Building is the next building (a grey-white one
story structure with a black roof, more or less
across from a parking lot on your right.

Coming from Augusta (US 25 & 80)
or Sylvania (US 301 North)
- Georgia Southern University
Campus is approximately 90 minutes from downtown
Augusta, if you know your way and/or do not get
lost).
- Follow US 25/80/301 South
into town to Hwy 67--turn East on Hwy 67.
- Follow Hwy 67 (South) about
2 miles until Chandler Ave (eventually, you will
pass by some sports practice fields, Hanner Field
House, and a wooded area on your right). Chandler
Ave is across from the big church.
- On Chandler Ave, go to the
first light; take a right onto Georgia Ave.
- Follow Georgia Ave to a
90-degree left curve; here, Georgia Ave becomes
Forest Drive.
- Keep going; soon, you will
pass by a field. After the field, there is a double
one-story brick building on your right, followed
by a one story modular building in grey-white with
a black roof (across from the parking lot). This
is it.

Forest Drive Classroom Building

Park; enter
(use the "right" main entrance, seen from the front
of the building).

Keep immediately
to your right; you should see the Main Office of
Foreign Languages here (#1302[A]). Should you get
lost (there or on the way), call the main office
(478-8072).
