Shawna Williams grew up in St. Marys, Georgia. She received her B.S. in Psychology, a B.A.. in Spanish, and a Masters of Art in Teaching Spanish, all from Georgia Southern University. During her undergraduate career, Mrs. Williams studied abroad in Spain and visited Costa Rica. She has served as a translator in Statesboro for a local employment agency, and for the local domestic violence shelter. She taught high school Spanish for one year (2007-2008). Her husband, Kyle is from Metter. They married in 2004.
