Flight Path

The first eagle to be completed in the Eagle Nation in Education program, Statesboro Nation represents the essence of the local community. With the stars and stripes of the American flag and representations of the beloved local courthouse and Averitt Center, this eagle’s wing says it all: “We are Statesboro!”

Meet the Artist 

artist_fallin-150x150Kelsey Fallin was a seventh-grader at William James Middle School when she won the Eagle Nation in Education challenge in 2012-13. A dancer with the Gail Hursey School of Dance, Kelsey excels in both performance and fine art. Kelsey and her parents Debra and Matt Fallin reside in Statesboro.

This eagle was completed with assistance from Master of Fine Arts Candidate Janet Suarez.
