at 7:30 p.m., No show on Monday Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award as best play of the season, "Look Homeward Angel" captures the sardonic humor and the grief, both private and universal, of Thomas Wolfe's novel about a youth coming of age. The play vividly portrays the young idealist, Eugene Gant, his mother whose obsession with material possessions creates barriers against the love of her family and his father, a stonecutter imprisoned by his failures. |
