PROGRAM ADMISSION CRITERIA:

• Students must have a total institution GPA of 2.35 and 30 earned hours to become a major in this Communication Arts program.

• Students with fewer than 30 hours and/or less than 2.35 total institutional GPA will be considered “Pre-Communication Art” students

and advised by Communication Arts Advisement.

OTHER PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

• Students must make a minimum grade of “C” in each Communication Arts class to receive credit for that course.

• “Pre-Communication Arts” students cannot take upper division Communication Arts classes.

* A total institution GPA of 2.5 is required to register for internship credit. A maximum of 3 hours of internship credit can be applied toward

graduation requirements.
