Multimedia Communication

The Georgia Southern Multi-Media Communication Program has a history of excellence in preparing students for radio and television careers. The program prepares students for careers in broadcast media by providing students with knowledge of traditional broadcast and new Internet and digital media production. Alumni are employed at stations, networks and production facilities throughout Georgia and the Southeastern United States. Others are enjoying careers in Washington, D.C., Hollywood, and Nashville. Such success is a result of a challenging curriculum, dedicated faculty, individualized instruction, and a superior relationship with the broadcast industry.

The B.S. degree in Broadcasting will present you with the opportunity to major in one of three emphases. All three areas will ground you in a core of courses that will provide a comprehensive perspective on the broadcast industry. You can choose and emphasis from Film, Information or Production.
