The Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art strives to bring performances that will wow festival goers! Each year, participants can expect to see new and different acts on the stage along with traditional crowd favorites.

Southern Saxophones
Georgia Southern University 
11:00 a.m. An ArtsFest performer since 2000, Southern Saxophones is Georgia Southern’s student saxophone ensemble. Community members may recognize the group from performances at First Fridays Downtown!
Georgia Southern Winterguard
Georgia Southern University 
11:45 a.m. To the left of the main stage, Georgia Southern University’s Winterguard will be displaying their talent to the community with their performance.
Balefire 12:00 p.m. Bringing the art of fire dancing from Atlanta, Balefire will ignite Sweetheart Circle with their fire and dance performances.

12:45 p.m. Watch as the Mischief Maker’s tell the story of the greatest trickery of all time.

1:40 p.m. Bringing the art of fire dancing from Atlanta, Balefire will ignite Sweetheart Circle with their fire and dance performances.
School of Rock
Pladd Dot Music
2:20 p.m. Returning to the ArtsFest stage, Pladd Dot’s music program consists of five middle and high school aged bands, playing everything from ACDC and Guns N’ Roses to Cream and Sheryl Crow.
Balefire 3:30 p.m. Bringing the art of fire dancing from Atlanta, Balefire will ignite Sweetheart Circle with their fire and dance performances.

Pladd Dot Music
4:00 p.m. Returning to the ArtsFest stage, Pladd Dot’s music program consists of five middle and high school aged bands, playing everything from ACDC and Guns N’ Roses to Cream and Sheryl Crow.

Gail Hursey School of Dance 11:00 a.m. Local dancers ranging from three-years-old and up will perform an array of ballet, tap and jazz routines.
Statesboro Youth Theater  12:00 p.m. Statesboro Youth Theater Presents Velveteen Rabbit
Statesboro Youth Ballet  12:45 p.m. The Statesboro youth Ballet will be performing dances they have prepared for their Spring Showcase.
Averitt Center for the Arts After Hours  1:15 p.m. The Averitt Center for the Arts Afterschool program will be leading the crowd in a new dance.

Performance Works Players 2:15 p.m. The Performance Works Players will be performing “Tricksters in the Market Place”, a mash up of fairytales.
Claxton Youth Choral  3:00 p.m. New this year, the recently formed Claxton Youth Choral, will be performing a number of choral songs.
Averitt Starz 3:30 p.m. The Averitt Starz presents a preview of The Music Man!
