Department of Art Scholarships and financial aid

A college education is an investment in your future.  Georgia Southern University offers financial aid programs to meet the needs of its students who demonstrate financial need and to those who demonstrate academic and creative achievements.  With the HOPE scholarship program, Georgia resident students are supported by state funding for good grades!  Undergraduate students interested in scholarships and financial aid should visit the Financial Aid website at http://students.georgiasouthern.edu/finaid/.

Art majors are eligible for various art scholarships and honors awarded within the department.  Criteria for receiving these competitive awards reflect the student's academic achievement and creative performance.

*Except where noted, all scholarships require a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applications are reviewed by faculty in the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art, in consultation with donors as requested. Selection will be made in the spring, and the scholarship will be applied toward each recipient’s tuition and fees during the following academic year. Students who receive the scholarships must have at least one academic year following the beginning of the next fiscal term (July 1-June 30) remaining before graduation. Annual award allocations are available on the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art website.
