Incoming Freshman Scholarship Application Form
This scholarship is offered to students interested in careers in graphic communications and have been recommended to by their high school teacher.
To receive the scholarship, the students must be enrolled at Georgia Southern University, declared Graphic Communications Management as their major, in good academic standing and enrolled in one GCM course each semester.
The scholarship will be paid out as follows:
$300 the first semester, the students must be enrolled in GCM 1131 or GCM1321/1411,
$400 the second semester, the student must be enrolled in one GCM courses, and
$800 the third semester, the student must be enrolled in one GCM courses.

College Scholarship Program
Camp Scholarship
Established in honor of the Camp family in recognition of their dedication to academic excellence and contributions to the Georgia printing industry. The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize and assist outstanding students of graphic communications.
The applicants demonstrated academic excellence, personal character, relevant extracurricular activities, and motivating interests will be considered. The scholarship is open to full-time students majoring in printing management. Preference will be given to students from Walton County. To remain eligible for a scholarship, the recipient must maintain full-time enrollment status.
Printing and Imaging Association of Georgia Scholarship
This scholarship program has been established by the Printing and Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG) to recognize and assist students majoring in graphic communications.
Includes full-time enrollment, academic standing (2.5 GPA or better), Georgia residency, and financial need. Application open to students majoring in graphic communications at any under graduate or graduate class level.
Mendel Segal
This scholarship was established in 1984 to honor Mendel Segal, a man who has perhaps contributed more over the years to the printing industry on a national basis than any other executive from the State of Georgia.
The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize and assist outstanding students in graphic communications.
Include full-time enrollment, academic standing and financial need. Application open to students majoring in printing management at any under graduate or graduate class level.
George Wallis
This scholarship was established in 1989 to honor George Wallis of Wallis Printing Company.
Includes full-time enrollment, academic standing and financial need. Application open to students majoring in Graphic Communications Management at any undergraduate or graduate class level.
Nelson P. Dow/Dana Kastory Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1993 with a grant from the Southeastern Prepress Association (SPA). It is named for the late Nelson P. Dow, founder of the SPA and a nationally recognized prepress pioneer. In 2001 the scholarship was renamed to the Nelson P. Dow/Dana Kastory Scholarship. The name was changed to honor the past directors of the Southeastern Prepress Association. Togather they lead the association for almost forty years. While other schools were considered for the grant, GSU was chosen because of its strides in electronic and digital imaging.
The recipient must be a rising junior, senior, or current graduate student in good academic standing and working toward a degree directly applicable to graphic communications.
Printing Management Alumni & Friends Scholarship
The Printing Management Alumni and Friends Scholarship was conceived of by the scholarship sub-committee of the Printing Management program advisor board in 1989. The scholarship provides alumni, their employers and friends of the printing program an opportunity to contribute to a scholarship fund. Many alumni use their employers matching donation program to in affect double the amount given to the scholarship. The purpose is to recognize and assist students majoring in the Graphic Communications Management program.
Includes full-time enrollment in the printing management program, academic standing and financial need. Application is open to all sophomores, juniors and seniors who are majoring in Graphic Communications Management.
Quad Graphics
This scholarship was established for a 5 year period to support 10 student each year for $2500 each.
Five scholarships are awarded in the fall and five more in the spring. A student may only receive one of these per academic year.
