Beck is a graphics premedia provider for publications and printers. The Account Representative will handle order entry, administrative duties, communications and client relationships with consumer product and packaging clients. The Account Representative needs knowledge of Flexo and Offset printing processes. This position will also handle design and prepress services through digital file or film fulfillment to printer. JOB DESCRIPTION 1: Provide in-house support for packaging accounts. Assist in assuring that the packaging workflow procedures and company policy are followed as it pertains to the production of graphics for printing. Becomes familiar with ePace as it pertains to order entry and estimation of pricing. Obtains and organizes complete project and printer specifications and assists with communication of production requirements using change orders, revision orders, and final job tickets. Close out and recap of all job history for billing following Beck’s established procedures. Maintains notebook on previous projects as to be used for cross reference on future projects Keep the Compression Process Manager and Director of Workflow Compression informed on projects as they come in. Manage client relationships through the guidance of the VP-Business Development and Director of Workflow Compression. Schedule and inform the appropriate staff of pre-planning meetings and required representation on press checks. Analyzes concepts in the design phase for printability. Alerts VP-Business Development and Director of Workflow Compression of any condition within the company that could lead to customer dissatisfaction and recommends solutions to the problem. Cross train on the procedures for all accounts as to provide back-up for other Compression Process Coordinator’s during vacation and unexpected leaves of absences.
