Christina Lemon, MFA, East Carolina University, is a professor in the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art with expertise in jewelry and metalsmithing.
Lemon has executed many commissions for Georgia Southern University presidents and created a custom brooch for former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Her artwork in the fields of metalsmithing and enameling have been published in books and magazines including Earrings: Lark Studio Series, published by Lark Books; Contemporary Enameling: Art and Techniques by Lilyan Bachrach; and The Art and Craft of Making Jewelry: A Complete Guide to Essential Techniques by Joanna Golberg.
Lemon is an exhibiting member of Piedmant Craftsmen Inc., Winston-Salem, N.C. Her excellence and innovation in the field of jewelry, metalsmithing, and fine craft has been recognized through distinguished awards such as the NICHE, sponsored by NICHE magazine.
Her community service spans beyond Georgia Southern as a Board member and volunteer with the Humane Society of Statesboro and Bulloch County.
