ABOUT

Jason Hoelscher, MFA, is the Gallery Director and Assistant Professor of Art at the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art (BFSDoArt). Hoelscher is currently working on his PhD in Art Theory and Aesthetics, from the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts. He received his MFA in Painting from the Pratt Institute in 2000. Hoelscher’s paintings deal with attention span and the articulation and negotiation of opposed qualities.
