Student Made (formerly the Club Mud Exhibition and Sale) provides students the opportunity to showcase and sell their artwork. Patrons are delighted by selections of handcrafted ceramics, jewelry, paper and bookmaking products, paintings, prints, and more.
Throughout the year, look for the Student Made emblem at local events such as Statesboro Mainstreet Farmers Market, F1rst Fridays, and Shop by Lantern Light to find one-of-a-kind artwork from the students of the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art.
Student Made provides an opportunity for student-artists to exhibit, network with the public, and understand the business of being professional artists. The sales allow art students to exercise their skills in professional practices and customer relations.
The University and local community serve as the BFSDoArt’s biggest supporters by encouraging the students as they develop their creative talents to evolve and grow into experts of their fields.
Proceeds support BFSDoArt students, student travel, and the visiting artist program. Independent student groups also give back to various local causes including the Bulloch County Humane Society and Statesboro Food Bank.
Prices vary; cash or check only, please.
