Alumnus Adam Pace finds success after graduating
Photography Alumnus Adam Pace has been very busy since graduating from Georgia Southern. He is employed as a Media Photographer for the premier United States drifting series Formula DRIFT, Atlanta and also designs cable/fiber optic CAD layouts for Windstream Communications.
Pace recently earned First Place and Honorable Mention in a Georgia historic photo competition. One piece of his work was purchased while the other is still on Display at Jackson County Arts Council Gallery in Braselton. Pace is also currently working on experimental photographs using different mediums as filters.
He explains, “These images typically capture movement and time via long exposures in broad daylight. [It] creates a dreamy aesthetic to what would normally be a less interesting subject matter.”
More importantly, Adam popped the question to fellow BFSDoArt Alumna Emily Cannady and she said yes! The two will be getting married in spring 2014.
